Where the Wild Things Roam

One of the joys of being a military family means seeing military ceremonies, a lot.  Practice ones.  Real ones.  Fun ones.  Boring ones. Lots of opportunities to see ceremonies, nonetheless.  Today the Horse Detatchment was having 2 shows that were open to the military community to give the horses practice on running & showing as they would for a ceremony.  The horses that the Army run are old race horses so they must be run routinely or their muscles go bad resulting in a trip to horse heaven.  So, it was a nice opportunity for the crazies to see a practice ceremony, fast horses, & gunshots... a 3 year old's dream, right!?!  So, I packed up the crazies, headed to the stables, & let the wild things roam the stables & yard for about 2 hours with some of our friends.
